Example: 200 tickets at £10
The sliders start at 200 tickets a year at £10 each, which is £2,000 of ticket sales. On Chobble Tickets the cost is the £50 annual hosting fee plus Stripe's 1.5% + 20p on each payment, which comes to £120 and leaves £1,880. On Eventbrite's UK rate of 6.95% + £0.59 a ticket (checked 8 August 2026), which includes payment processing, the fees are £257 and the organiser keeps £1,743.
At very low volumes the order changes. A per-ticket platform can cost less than £50 a year in total, and the calculator shows that when you move the ticket slider down.
How fees are calculated
Each platform card shows the amount you keep after all fees are deducted from your total ticket sales for a year. Fees include annual subscription costs, per-ticket platform fees, and payment processing charges.
The estimate assumes one ticket per payment transaction. A booking with several tickets usually incurs a fixed payment-processing charge once, so its real cost may be lower. The calculator cannot represent every minimum fee, cap, VAT rule, pricing tier, negotiated rate or optional buyer-paid charge.
