No spying
Chobble does not collect attendee data or use your events to market to your attendees.
Your attendee data
Chobble is a community interest company that provides ticketing software. Chobble does not collect attendee data, build audience profiles, or market to your attendees.
Attendee data is not stored by Chobble as it passes through the platform. Your attendees' personal information is encrypted at rest and only decrypted when you, the event organiser, choose to view it.
No attendee accounts or marketing
Many ticketing platforms encourage attendees to create accounts and follow other events on the platform. Your attendees will receive emails from those platforms about other organisers' events.
Chobble does not do this. Attendees do not need a Chobble account, they are not prompted to download an app, and they are not added to a mailing list.
No rights to your data
Chobble does not use attendee data for analytics, advertising, or product development. It is not shared with third parties or aggregated.
You are the data controller. If you leave Chobble, you take your attendee data with you.
How Chobble makes money
Many platforms offer a free tier. Their income comes from advertising and from selling or using attendee data. Chobble's income comes from the annual fee you pay. There is no advertising revenue and no data economy.
As a community interest company, Chobble cannot distribute profit to shareholders. The annual fee covers running costs.
