Ticketing for theatre and performing arts

Sell tickets for amateur dramatics, community theatre and dance shows for £50/year with no Chobble per-ticket platform fee.

No Chobble fee added per ticket

Many ticketing platforms add a booking fee of £1-2 to each ticket, so a £10 ticket costs the audience £11 or more. Chobble Tickets adds no Chobble per-ticket platform fee, so the audience pays the ticket price you set and nothing else.

The platform costs a flat £50/year or £5/month, with a 50% discount for charities and community groups, which covers most amateur dramatics societies. Payments go through Stripe, Square, or SumUp directly to the society's own account.

A run of performances is set up either as a daily event with per-date capacity, or by duplicating an event for each performance.

General admission only

Chobble Tickets does not have seat maps or allocated seating. All tickets are general admission, so it suits venues where the audience picks their own seats. If your venue needs numbered seats, a platform with reserved seating is a better fit.

Concession pricing works through separate listings in a group with shared capacity, such as adult, child, and concession tickets counting against one house limit, or through promo codes for members.

Not everyone books online. Manual attendees record door sales, and they appear in the same attendee lists and CSV exports as online bookings.

Features for the box office

  • QR check-ins front of house

Front-of-house volunteers scan tickets with a phone camera. The scanner flags duplicates and tickets for the wrong performance.

  • Door sales

Add door sales and complimentary tickets from the admin panel so the house count stays accurate.

  • CSV export

Download attendee lists per performance as CSV files for the box office and front-of-house team.
