Two products with different aims
Eventee is an event app built in Brno, Czech Republic. An organiser builds an event in the Eventee builder, and Eventee publishes it as a mobile app, a web app, and a no-code event website. Attendees use it to follow the schedule, ask questions, network, and check in.
Chobble Tickets sells tickets and collects payment. Attendees book through a checkout, receive a ticket with a QR code, and add it to Apple or Google Wallet. The organiser keeps attendee data, encrypted, on infrastructure they can control.

Eventee sells single-event plans priced per event, plus annual subscription plans. The single-event prices are steep, and all exclude VAT and sales tax:

A fully-featured Professional event with white label reaches £4,799 for a single event, before VAT. Subscriptions bill annually and renew automatically, and the terms state Eventee does not offer refunds.
Chobble Tickets charges a flat £50/year or £5/month (£25/year for charities, community groups, artists and musicians on the annual plan) with no per-ticket platform fee. Payment processing through Stripe, Square, or SumUp is separate. There is no attendee cap, no event cap, and no per-feature add-ons.
The two price models differ in shape, not just in amount. Eventee charges per event and includes attendee engagement features Chobble does not offer. Chobble charges per year and includes paid ticket sales, encrypted attendee data, and self-hosting Eventee does not offer. Data ownership
Eventee is a hosted cloud service. Attendee and event data lives on Eventee's servers, hosted by DigitalOcean in Amsterdam. Eventee holds an ISO 27001 certificate and says it does not transfer data outside the EU. Its privacy policy states that in no case does Eventee work with attendee information, and that sharing attendee data without consent is the organiser's responsibility. Eventee's terms grant it a licence to host, store, and display the content organisers upload.
Chobble Tickets encrypts attendee data at rest, and only the organiser holds the private key. The platform is open source under AGPLv3, so an organiser can self-host it and keep data on infrastructure they control. If Chobble Tickets stopped operating, an organiser could run the same code on their own server.
When Eventee might be the better choice

Who builds Eventee?
Eventee is operated by Eventee s.r.o., a Czech limited liability company registered at Kopečná 940/14, 602 00 Brno, ID No. 29307236, kept by the Regional Court in Brno. Its terms are governed by Czech law. The about page lists Roman Mastalir as CEO and Petr Fiala as CTO. The about page does not state when the company was founded, and the sources reviewed did not establish its funding status.
Eventee's source code is proprietary and the platform is cloud-only. It has a sales office in New York, and the engineering team is based in Europe. The site carries GDPR and ISO 27001 badges.
Chobble Tickets is run by one person as a Community Interest Company (CIC), a UK legal structure that locks the company's assets for community benefit. All of Chobble's code is public under AGPLv3, and the platform can be self-hosted by anyone without depending on Chobble as a company.
