White labelling
Booking pages, tickets and emails carry the organiser's name and no Chobble branding. There is no "powered by" link, no higher tier and no add-on to buy.
What white labelling means here
A white label product carries the name of the organisation using it rather than the name of the company that made it. Attendees who book a ticket see the organiser's site, and need not know which software produced it.
Chobble Tickets is white label on every site, whether it is managed by Chobble or self-hosted. Some platforms sell branding removal as a paid add-on or restrict it to a higher plan.
The public site carries no Chobble branding anywhere. The only Chobble link in the product is in the footer of the administration area, which only logged-in staff see. The Chobble name appears in the default web address until the organiser points a custom domain at the site.
Where the organiser's name appears
- The web address. Every managed site gets a
yourname.tix.chobble.netaddress, and a custom domain such astickets.example.orgcan be connected to it at no extra charge, by adding one record with whoever the organiser bought the domain from. - The public site. The built-in website uses the site title, header image and content the organiser writes, with light and dark themes and custom CSS for colours, fonts and spacing.
- Emails. Confirmations are sent through the organiser's account with Resend, Postmark, SendGrid or Mailgun, so they come from the organiser's own domain. The subject, HTML body and text body are editable templates.
- Tickets and check-in. Ticket pages and QR codes sit on the same
address as the rest of the site, which is the
yourname.tix.chobble.netaddress until a custom domain is pointed at it. - An existing website. The embeddable widget puts the booking pages inside a site the organiser already runs. The order widget turns that site's links into add-to-cart buttons and hands the chosen quantities off to the hosted checkout.
No attribution requirement
Chobble Tickets is published under the AGPL-3.0-only licence. The licence has no "powered by" or visible attribution term, so a self-hosted copy can remove or replace the branding without buying a commercial licence.
Self-hosting has no Chobble software fee. The operator pays for infrastructure, email and payment processing instead.
No marketplace and no attendee marketing
Chobble Tickets has no public event marketplace, so listings are not cross-promoted next to other organisers' events. Chobble does not email attendees about other events or build audience profiles from them, as described in no attendee marketing and who can see your data.
Which ticket apps let you remove branding compares how other providers price branding removal.
